Our legacy is short compared to that of the product we sell. In 1923, Charles Luck, Jr. founded a single quarry, Sunnyside Granite Company, outside of Richmond, Virginia. In the decades that followed, Luck Stone continually expanded and improved its products and operations. And during these years, two more generations of the Luck family assumed the role of president–Charles Luck, III in 1965 and Charles Luck, IV in 1995. For over 80 years, we have been most inspired by the lasting value of stone. When we find stone from quarries in Italy or a quarry in Wisconsin, we know that it will be used to create an element of your home; one that will come to have significance of its own for you and your family.
