Albemarle aggregate is quarried in Shadwell, VA, birthplace of President Thomas Jefferson. The product is Catoctin Greenstone, a rock formation created out of volcanic lava flows over 500 million years ago. Albemarle stone is known for its unique greenish-blue/gray color and harmonizes naturally in any setting.
